ROLES:

• Provide direct coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job guidance to the existing Derrickman in workover/well intervention operations such as working at rig derrick, pipe & tubing handling, circulation, fluid handling, and well servicing activities.
• In addition to assisting duties, actively perform as a Derrickman in workover and well intervention operations as required by operational needs and supervisor instructions.
• Act as an agent of change in promoting improvements in work practices, safety, operational discipline, and efficiency in the derrick, tubing board, and fluid system areas during WOWS operations.
• Serve as a role model for the existing Derrickman in implementing workover/well intervention best practices, HSE compliance, housekeeping, and good rig working standards.
• Guide safe working at height activities in the derrick/tubing board area and lead by example in the use of full body harness, fall protection systems, and working at height safety procedures.
• Perform and guide preventive maintenance and routine inspections of workover rig equipment, including tubing board equipment, fluid systems, and derrick equipment to ensure reliability and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with the Driller, Toolpusher, Rig Supervisor WOWS, and Rig Coach to enhance crew competency, work safety, equipment reliability and operational efficiency in workover/well intervention operations and NPT reduction.
• Primary operational accountability remains with the existing Derrickman, while Derrickman Level 3 functions as a mentor, competency coach, and enabler of safe and efficient work standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Shall have at least 7 (seven) years of working experience in Drilling and/or Workover Well Services/Well Intervention operations including at least two (2) years of experience as a Derrickman in Workover & Well Services/Well Intervention. Shall have completed the following qualification requirements (including training schools or certification programs):

1. Held valid minimum PPSDM MIGAS Operator Menara Perawatan Sumur Rig/Hoist Certificate.
2. High school graduate (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
3. Understand general WOWS operation procedures, including well completion, well servicing, pipe/tubing handling, well killing, and well intervention.
4. Understand well control, pressure control, and response to abnormal well conditions.
5. Understanding of rig mud pump operations and maintenance, including monitoring pump pressure, checking liners, valves, fluid ends, and basic preventive maintenance.
6. Understand mixing procedures for completion/WOWS fluids according to the work program, including calculations of density, volume, additives, and safe handling of chemicals.
7. Understand work safety procedures, including PTW, JSA/TRA, LOTO, emergency response procedures, and perform fire prevention and safety extinguishing.
8. Able to work at heights (derrick/monkey board) and handle tubing/pipes safely and efficiently.
9. Able to operate and use handling equipment such as elevators, slips, tongs, and pipe handling tools according to procedure.
10. Able to perform inspection, maintenance, and housekeeping of derrick area equipment and ensure work equipment readiness
11. Good communication and coordination skills with Driller, Toolpusher, Rig Supervisor, and related teams.
