ROLE:

• To supervise the refractory maintenance team at site in the installation, repair and replacement of refractory linings in the flash furnaces in the smelter as well as refractory-lined equipment items in the Sulphuric Acid plant, Precious Metals Refinery and Electro Refinery through supervision of the refractory maintenance team at site.
• To supervise the refractory maintenance team at site in implement quality specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, statutory guidelines, health, safety and environment norms during refractory maintenance.
• To improve productivity of the refractory maintenance team at site under jurisdiction and impart on job training.

QUALIFICATION:

• Graduate Engineer in Civil/Ceramic Engineering will be an added advantage
• 5 years in smelter operations with 3 years of experience in leading teams including contractual teams
• Fuency in English
