Responsibilities :

• Ability to read drawings and instructions, to install/ remove, overhaul rotating equipment or parts.
• Ability to set, align and install/ remove rotating equipment or parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze equipment problems, and to request required spare parts.
• Ability to overhaul and repair rotating equipment i.e. compressors, blowers, pumps and fans, mixer, mechanical seals etc.
• Carry out day to day plant maintenance work independently.
• Implement mechanical preventive maintenance.
• Carry out maintenance jobs on static equipment, Valves, Pipelines, Exchangers, Vessels, Column etc.
• Ability to drive Forklift as per RLOC regulations is preferred.
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in Chemical service:

            Pipes    : size, schedule and metallurgy
            Valves    : size, type,  trim and metallurgy
            Gasket   : size, type, and installation
            Fitting    : sizes, rating and type

• Reading of drawings and instruction and layout/ installation of piping.
• Operate workshop mechanical equip i.e. griding machine, power saw, etc.

Qualifications :

• Minimum D3 in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience as Electrical Technician in Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas plant.
• Fluent knowledge of English language (Speak, Read and Write).
• Trade training Certificates from recognize institutions.
